Costume Design

Outside of my animation work, I've always had a passion for crafting costumes--whether it be for holidays, commissions, or just to express myself! I have been sewing since I was 10 years old, and am mostly self taught; since attending SCAD, I now have experience in multiple industry level sewing practices. My favorite way to sew is by hand, and often how I spend a relaxing afternoon, however the use of personal and industry level machines is a skill I practice often when working on larger, more durable projects. To see some of my non-wearable sewing and leatherwork, head over to "Other" under Portfolio!

Citrus

My first partial fursuit, this wolfdog-inspired cutie is completely hand-sewn and neoprene lined, featuring an openable mouth for airflow, removeable hair, and poseable tongue.

Grian

Inspired by The Life Series and Hermitcraft, this avian troublemaker was a fun challenge to tackle! Grian comes with moveable wings, minky feather ears and tail, a minecraft-themed nametag, his classic red jumper, and handmade earrings and accessories.

Walter the Avali

One of my first big commissions, this mini partial was a client's character brought to life! Walter is a protogen Avali, a fictional species sporting a stunning mix of fur and feathers. The paws are fully lined for optimal comfort, and the tail is constructed with a hidden, removeable belt loop, and hyper-motion foam core for optimal tail wags.

Eastern Wolf Gear

Inspired by North-Eastern mountain wolves, I have made a variety of kemonomimi-style gear to wear with everyday outfits. The ears and faux fur tail were some of the first ever animal-costume garments I've made, which I still wear today!

Border Collie Mask

With foam, felt, faux fur, and a touch of leather, this lightweight mask was the start of my mask-making journey! I pivoted to leather-based designs shortly after, which can be seen under Leatherwork.

Ears

Whether canine, equine, or even sciuridae, wearable ears are both fun to make and wear! (Pony and squirrel ear photos coming soon...)

Clothing

While studying in the fashion department at SCAD, I learned how to professionally sew everyday clothing garments, integrating those professional techniques into my costume design and plushie work.

Early Work

Creating costumes has been an artistry of mine since I was 10 years old, when I made my first Halloween costume! From that year onward, I continued to hone that skill through practice and self-education.
